I was a little surprised this didn't have a pin on the back, but rather a thin strip of bendable metal. With my handy glue gun this wasn't a problem and it looks amazing on this faux fur hat I got for Christmas. This is really cool, real metal, but the paint was a little off but you can hardly notice. Everyone who has seen me wearing this loves it and it totally works with my Neo-USSR fashion. No real complaints, only that you have to attach your own pin or just hot glue this onto something. Maybe I think the price is a little much for such a small piece, but heck, I did pay for it after all, so it's not that steep (lol).

I bought this to compliment my Russian style hat I bought at a store. I will sum up the difference of having the star on the hat by quoting a friend of mine: "Before you just had the hat, and it was just kinda weird more than cool. But now with that star on it, it looks so beast!" Beast, for those who do not speak non-redneck Kentucky slang, is a good thing.
